When the Vice Chancellor started to speak

The new Vice Chancellor of our university is already becoming the new favorite person of the year. With a new revolution and mind setting he had in his mind, we are very much appreciate for every single aspect he consider.

The achievement of our university is rapidly increasing day by day. We've won so many medals in an engineering exhibition/research nationally/globally recently. The number of students are increasing each year as well as the number of international undergraduate/postgraduate. Simple and easy, i am proud to say that our university is moving towards becoming The First choice University, World Class Branded.

But deep inside, some aspect have to be consider by the management. Some aspect might no longer suitable/relevant nowadays in order to become world class university. For an example the rules and regulation, etc. I can't talk much about it for it is a sensitive issue and i bet everyone knows what am I talking about.

But today...everything's changed. The words from our beloved Vice Chancellor makes everyone feel relieved. At last, all the irrelevant aspects in the university will be re-consider. Rules and regulation are made to make students feels secure and not to put a pressure on them. If the reverse thing happen, then the rules are no longer relevant to be apply. Why? because it will eventually block the way the student think as well as their critical thinking. All they need is a maturity, to be self independent and not a BLOCKAGE..

Of course most of the students are above 21 years old and by mean of that age according to the law of our country Malaysia, the person have the right to speak, think, involve in an organization legally, the right to involve in an election to choose their leader and are mature enough to get married. As long as it is not against the constitution of our beloved country. Maybe the management should look deeper in this matter and stop treating us like a children.

Sometimes, the negative thinking of our minds pollutes the power of logics and relevancy. "What we need to do is to ask EVERYONE including ourself, to look into the mirror. See how have we contributed to either starting the fire or fueling the fire or are we extinguishing the fire, or maybe we have the good intention to extingushing the fire but accidently threw fuel into the fire"~ (taken from chedet.co.cc). Good intention of developing the university but in a wrong way causes a devastating especially to the students themself.

Whatever it is, we hope that our beloved vice chancellor could bring a major revolution to the management to enhance more on the Quality of our technical-based university. Thank you so much and CONGRATULATION to our father of revolution. You're our hero.

Best regards..
